Streetwear Brand, Sabit, Closes Clinton Street Store

Must Read

Sabit
43 Clinton St.

Sabit The Shopp at 43 Clinton St. closed down last week after almost two years on the Lower East Side. The brick-and-mortar home to Japanese-style streetwear brand Sabit NYC had a final sale that ended on Friday, May 27.

Retail businesses have been struggling on Clinton Street for some time, partially due to slow foot traffic in the area. Just two months ago, Sydney Pringle’s Little Shoe Store closed down in the shadow of a luxury condo project being built at 50 Clinton St., right across from Sabit.

We’ve contacted representatives from Sabit NYC and hope to have more information about the reasons for closing the Clinton Street store.
