–City & State has details from the City Planning Commission which yesterday approved Mayor de Blasio’s controversial zoning proposals. The initiatives – known as “Mandatory Inclusionary Housing” and “Zoning for Quality and Affordability” – will now be taken up by the City Council.

–The City Council is under fire as it prepares to vote tomorrow on a pay raise. Local Council member Margaret Chin spoke in favor of the pay hike yesterday, notes Gothamist.
