Politico New York reports that Sheldon Silver’s chances of a successful appeal of his conviction on federal corruption charges are slim.

The Times looks at what’s next legally for Sheldon Silver, noting: “The schedule suggests that Mr. Silver… will be sentenced sometime in the spring, after which he can appeal his case to the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit in Manhattan.”
