–At 7 and 9 p.m. tonight, Wynne Greenwood will stage a performance at the New Museum as part of her “Temporary Arrangements Series.” The series “invites artists to form one-night-only bands and stage their premiere—and, by definition, also final—performances.” $12. More info here.
–Tim Clifford’s “Threat Assessment” opens tonight at 6 p.m. at Howl Happening, 6 East 1st St. It’s “an exhibition of works that transform the visuals of American gun culture into meticulously rendered indictments of violence and death.” Here’s the Facebook invite.
–“Nightmare of You” returns to the stage at Bowery Ballroom tonight at 9 p.m., performing their self-titled debut record.
—The Zero Food Waste Popup launches tomorrow at miLES’s space at 103 Allen St.
–Tomorrow at 6 p.m., Launch F18 will host an opening reception for “Discrete Pieces,” an exhibition of new sculpture by Nathaniel Robinson. The gallery is located at 94 Allen St.
–Tomorrow from 7-10 p.m., there will be an opening for a new exhibition by San Francisco-based sculptors Erika Sanada and Calvin Ma at My Plastic Heart, 210 Forsyth St. Details here.
