An art exhibit featuring portraits of legendary musician and activist Nina Simone opens tonight in the MiLES pop-up space at 103 Allen St. (at Delancey) at 7:00p.m. The show, “The Amazing Nina Simone: Definition of an Artist,” includes artwork from over 50 international artists and is being presented in conjunction with the premiere of the new documentary film, The Amazing Nina Simone, which opens in NYC tomorrow.
The filmmakers will be on hand this evening and all artwork is for sale. The show runs through the weekend, Fri-Sun, Oct 16-18, 10am-7pm.
