Bartender Legion, which hosts tasting events highlighting mezcal and tequila spirits, is coming to the Lower East Side next Tuesday, July 28. It will be held at Botanic Lab, the intimate cocktail bar below Casa Mezcal at 86 Orchard St.
Five bartenders will be taking part, including Rigoberto Cervantes of La Contenta on Norfolk Street, Julio Xoxocotla of Ward III in Tribeca, Juan Bautista of la Pulperia in Midtown, Erika Ordoñez of Happiest Hour in the West Village and Shannon Musthiper of Glady’s Caribbean in Brooklyn. There will also be DJ’s to provide entertainment.
The cost for the event, which starts at 7:30 p.m, is $20 in advance or $24 at the door. Click here for more information.
