Here’s a last minute invite for a “Know Your Rights” forum focused on the conversion of living spaces:

Attorney General Eric Schneiderman, State Senator Daniel Squadron and Manhattan Borough President Gale Brewer will host a “Know Your Rights” forum (this) evening, July 22, to engage residents on their rights and responsibilities as residents of  co-ops, condos, lofts, and live-work quarters. The forum will feature expert panelists from city and state agencies outline rights and responsibilities of owners, shareholders, and tenants of co-ops, condos and lofts.

The event takes p[lace at 6:30 p.m. at Saint Anthony of Padua Church, 154 Sullivan St.

  1. This seemed like a really good idea, and really good turnout. Too bad that it was sooooo hard to hear the speakers. Could only take it for so long then had to leave in frustration. Next time, some microphones would be extremely helpful and not that hard to come by these days. It ain’t the 70’s anymore.
