The Paths to Pier 42 group will be holding its Spring waterfront Celebration this coming Saturday afternoon. The organization has spent the past few years reactivating the once dormant area just above the main pier area (in the proximity of Montgomery Street). They hold a variety of events throughout the spring, summer and fall. Â One day, of course, Pier 42, will become a new community park.
On Saturday, you’ll get to meet the artists who have been selected to work on projects along the waterfront this year, as well as take part in walking tours, visit a mobile science lab and enjoy other fun activities. It all starts at noon. Click here for more details.
