Did you know Russ & Daughters has a semi-regular jazz series? It’s true! For the past few months, the cafe has been hosting a great roster of New York City musicians. The next installment is coming up Thursday night at 8 p.m., at the restaurant operated by the legendary appetizing store.
Jesse Harris will be performing songs from his new album, “No Wrong No Right,” along with Will Graefe and Jeremy Gustin of Star Rover. You can have a look at their video in support of the album below.
There will be two sets. The performance is free and there will be nosh and cocktail specials available, in addition to the regular menu. The series is the brainchild of Jeremiah Cymerman, a Russ & Daughters general manager who also happens to be an accomplished musician. If you frequent John Zorn’s amazing club, The Stone, you’ve likely seen him perform there.
The Russ & Daughters Cafe is located at 127 Orchard St.
