On view at onetwentyeight, the gallery at 128 Rivington St. through Jan. 3, is art from 23 children.  The kids, ranging in age from 5 to 14, were asked for submissions. According to a press release from the gallery, the “pieces range from pencil/pen on paper to photography and more elaborate works utilizing many media including several sculptural items.” Paul Power and Kazuko Miyamoto.organized the show. “The 23 artists were invited to submit works in any medium and on any theme and what has emerged is a wonderful and accomplished assemblage of these childrens’ dreams and realities,” Power said. The gallery will be open TuesdaySunday from 1-7 p.m. but will be closed Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.
