The 7th Precinct’s annual Hanukkah toy giveaway was in full swing when we stopped by yesterday afternoon. Local businesses and organizations contributed to making the event possible again this year; Hanukkah begins tomorrow night. The Christmas toy giveaway takes place next Saturday, December 20 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Don West, Community Precinct president, tells us tickets are on a first-come-first-served basis. They’re being distributed by local churches and there are also some available in advance at the 7th Precinct front desk (19 Pitt St.)
