If you made it out to Pickle Day on Orchard Street yesterday, you know it was packed. Those lines to acquire a pickle on a stick were pretty daunting. The event, sponsored by the Lower East Side BID, seemed to be doing the trick for local businesses, too. Most of the restaurants and shops along Orchard Street were benefiting from the spillover crowds.
