Morning Reads: Photography Center Bowery-Bound, NYU Fight, LES Art Galleries On a Roll

The highly regarded International Center of Photography is moving from Midtown to the Bowery, in a building near the New Museum. The organization’s board approved the purchase plan this week. Exhibitions are expected to begin no later than the middle of next year. Executive Director Mark Lubell “declined to say how much would be spent on the new building or to provide the address, explaining that sensitive negotiations toward a contract were underway.” (NYT)
