Our friends at the Hester Street Fair are getting out the clubs and creating a 9 hole mini golf course that will wind through Seward Park and into the Hester Street Fair this weekend. They write:
Each hole will have challenging obstacles and feature everything we know and love about the Lower East Side including tenements, graffiti and the Williamsburg Bridge.
After playing a round of golf, refresh yourself with an Arnold Palmer from Frittering Away (Sunday) and a specialty drink from Lots of Lemon (Saturday) and lounge in the special Club House. Then shop the 60+ specialty small businesses and vendors inside the Hester Street Fair.
Golfers can come to the Hester booth for clubs, golf balls, and scorecards.
Free and open to the public // August 9 & 10, 11am – 6pm // Essex Street at Hester Street.
What a lovely and creative idea for the community! The Hester Street Fair has been a wonderful destination since it opened!
