Morning Reads: The Two Shellys, 77 Bowery Retail For $12.5 Million, Fiddler on the Roof at 50

Sheldon Silver reiterates the existence of the “other Sheldon Silver”  and says of the Seward Park development project: “I had no—ultimately, I brought the whole project together. It’s in the planning, and it’s being, hopefully being built very shortly… The only thing I pushed was for a total disposition on the site. There is affordable housing on it right now. There’s low-income housing on it right now. The urban renewal area was created long before, when I was in college.” (Capital)

Sheldon Silver is sponsoring legislation that would allow the city to lower the speed limit to 25 mph but so far there is no Senate sponsor (Channel 4).
