New York’s only comedy musical festival is coming back for a third year this coming weekend. The NY Funny Songs Fest runs tonight through Saturday with tons of great acts each evening. The event was founded by musical comedienne Jessica Delfino, a longtime Lower East Side resident and TLD contributor.
This year’s events will take place across the city. Tonight’s opening party and entertainment lineup unfolds in Long Island City. Then tomorrow it’s back to the LES with events beginning at Ludlow and Canal streets. Here’s more:
This old school NYC block parade will start at the triangle at Ludlow and Canal and march up Orchard Street to the location of our evening’s first event: Botanic Lab, 86 Orchard Street and feature music, candy and mayhem! Featured performers include Adam Blotner, Gaby Gold aka MC Mom, Jim Melloan, Tahlia Robinson, Trish Nelson, DEVO Spice, Katie Haller, Ken Turetzky, Tim Raymus and maybe even YOU! Free event.
