The Clemente Soto Velez Cultural Center and ALBOR (the Association of Latino Business Owners and Residents) are kicking off a monthly series. On Thursday, they’re throwing the first party. Loisaida Baila/Dance Loisaida is a tropical Latin live music event with dance lessons and performances. The Society of Educational Arts (SEA) is helping to produce the evening, which includes dance instructors Yvette Rodriguez and Sam Wall, DJ Gaudi DeSedas, live bands NICO Y SU COMBO and QUIQUE, snacks, wine and beer. It’s a 21+ event; hours are 6-11 p.m; $10.
