The February rental reports show that prices fell in Manhattan for a sixth straight month compared with the previous year. Today Curbed crunched the numbers with the help of analyst Jonathan Miller, who prepares the monthly surveys for Douglas Elliman. The median price for an apartment borough-wide is $3100, down 2.8% from the same period last year.
On the Lower East Side, prices fell 1.8%. The median for non-doorman one-bedrooms in the neighborhood is about $2600. It’s hovering around $3400 for 2-bedrooms. You can see the LES slides below and view the whole report on Miller Samuel’s site.
