This coming Tuesday is the one-year anniversary of Hurricane Sandy. Among the events to mark the occasion is a forum featuring experts and community leaders at University Settlement.
The forum is called, “Our Climate, Our City, Our Future: Community Conversations on Environmental Justice & Rebuilding.” The panel discussion is the first of three discussions being organized by the Center for Social Inclusion. Participants in the panel include GOLES Executive Director Damaris Reyes, Helena Wong from CAAAV and Ron Shiffman from the Pratt Institute. The forum takes place Tuesday beginning at 6 p.m., at University Settlement’s headquarters, 184 Eldridge St. For more information or to RSVP, you can contact Dennis Chin at dchin@thecsi.org or 212-248-2785 x1450 or 609-954-2111.
