A Big Crowd Turns Out for The Space at Katz’s Pop-up Launch

Must Read

It was almost too crowded to see the “deli-inspired pieces” on the walls last night at the Katz’s party celebrating their temporary pop-up art space at 203 E. Houston St.

Design and apparel team ALIFE helped curate the event, adding some fun hats and tee shirts to the mix.  The beer was flowing and Katz’s front man Jake Dell greeted the crowd warmly.  Pieces from Hanksy, Rich Tu, Baron Von Fancy, Kenzo Minami, and HYP-INC were featured.

The space, which is next door to the deli and is owned by Katz’s, is in between tenants (it was most recently home to Tim Horton’s).  Until the next permanent tenant is confirmed, the plan is to present a monthly rotation of designers and artists, clearly making good use of the space for some creative merchandising.
