It was festive in the streets Thursday evening as the Stanton Street Shul celebrated Simchat Torah.
The Jewish holiday follows Sukkot and is a joyous celebration of the Torah. If you walk past Stanton Street, near Attorney, you may have noticed a Sukkah across the street from the synagogue, in the Siempre Verde Community Garden.
