The Lower East Side gallery shuffle continues.
On Stellar Rays recently moved to 1 Rivington St from 133 Orchard. Now word comes today that a new gallery, Julie Meneret Contemporary Art, will be taking over the Orchard Street space. According to the gallery’s web site, a grand opening exhibition is scheduled November 6 featuring Moroccan painter Zakaria Ramhani.
By the way, On Stellar Rays moved into the space formerly occupied by the Sue Scott Gallery. Got that? There will be a quiz later!
