Later this year, the Educational Alliance’s new Manny Cantor Center opens on East Broadway. They’re getting a jump start with a summer pop-up series in Seward Park.
Beginning July 9, the center will be offering a variety of activities for both kids and adults. There will be storytelling and song-making from the Seward Park Library, fitness programs for children, puppet shows and musical concerts. On July 12, the Czechoslovak-American Marionette Theatre will be on stage. Dave Fields and Friends brings blues and soul to the park July 10. And Grupo Loisaida takes its turn July 17.
