Morning Reads: Teen Accused of Biting Teacher, Rent Board Recommends Increases, Con Ed Bonus Freeze

A 14-year old student at Lower Manhattan Arts Academy, on the Seward Park campus, was arrested after allegedly biting a teacher who confiscated his phone (Daily News).

In a preliminary vote, the Rent Guidelines Board voted to push increases of 3.25-6.25% for one-year lease renewals and 5-9.5% for two year leases. A final vote takes place in June (Post).
