Here are a few reminders/suggestions for Memorial Day weekend on the Lower East Side:
- The Loisaida Festival takes place on Avenue C Sunday from noon-5 p.m. We posted the lineup earlier in the week.
- The Hester Street fair is kicking off summer with a ping pong tournament Saturday. And the fair will return on Sunday with Manhattan’s Largest Garage Sale.
- On Sunday, the Chinatown BID presents “Weekend Walks,” a stroll through Chinatown. Held on Mott Street between 11 a.m.-4 p.m., the event includes “games, kiddie rides, a Children’s Corner, live Jazz by The Spencer Brown Quartet, chess games… and more.”
