Last night, officials released the final plan for the East River Blueway, a community-driven vision for a stretch of the waterfront between the Brooklyn Bridge and 38th Street. The proposal is not funded but it does offer goals and concepts that could help guide future development on the East Side. The planning process was overseen by Manhattan Borough President Scott Stringer and State Assemblyman Brian Kavanagh and involved many local organizations including Community Board 3..
