It looks like Tiny Fork, the new oyster bar and nightlife spot from Rob Shamlian, is open for business at 167 Orchard St., in the Slipper Room building. Here’s some photographic evidence from an Instagram user. The menu is available on the restaurant’s web site. As you may know, the LES Dwellers neighborhood group is not too excited about the arrival of Tiny Fork, mostly based on Shamlian’s track record at places like Fat Baby, Spitzer’s Corner and the dearly departed Mason Dixon. Last night, CB3’s full board voted to deny the restaurant a second liquor license for a basement club.
