On Lafayette Street this past weekend the Public Theater threw a block party to celebrate its reopening after a $40 million renovation project concluded earlier this month. Photographer Tim Schreier shared some of his images from the day, which included entertainment, food and tours of the beautifully refurbished building. Tony nominated actor and musician Brian d’Arcy James, of Shrek the Musical and NBC’s Smash, was among the performers. Click through for more photos.
