Man-about-Chinatown Wilson Tang noticed the beefed up traffic/pedestrian safety presence near the Manhattan Bridge this past weekend. It was due to the closure of all Manhattan-bound lanes of the Brooklyn Bridge, which is in the midst of a major face lift. To deal with the congestion and confusion, the Department of Transportation re-routed traffic over the other Lower Manhattan bridges and the NYPD stationed more traffic control agents in key locations.

The Manhattan-bound lanes will be closed again this coming weekend, from midnight on Friday through Monday 6 a.m. More information about the project can be found on the DOT’s web site.
That looks like the Manhattan bridge to me? Which one is it?
