Here’s a reminder from City Council member Margaret Chin’s office:

The New York City Council Black Latino & Asian Caucus will host The Employment Opportunity and Small Business Expo on Saturday, May 19th 11am to 2pm, at the Fort Washington Armory: 216 Fort Washington Avenue (A,C, 1 train to 168th St). More than 50 city-wide employers and small business resources will be represented.  Free workshops to improve your resume and interviewing skills, How to Access Free training, 10 Steps to Starting Your Small Business, How to Access Start-Up Capital, and Doing Business With Government (MWBE). Participants with Resumes can be screened for jobs in 7 major industries, including Manufacturing, Transportation and Healthcare!
