- The Lower East Side might be losing Milk & Honey to Murray Hill, but “mixologist” Sam Ross tells Food & Wine that its replacement, Attaboy,” will also offer “cocktails to the highest degree.”
- Cafe Dancer opens for lunch at 96 Orchard. Among the sandwiches being offered: “Gruyere & cheddar grilled cheese, feta-topped egg salad on a hulking, crispy ciabatta, and heritage salami w/ arugula & olive oil on baguette-like garlic toast.” According to Thrillest, the restaurant/bar will eventually be serving dinner and opening up a basement space that will “host everything from performance art, to improv comedy, to ‘ambient electronic music.'”
