Former Seattle-ites Michael Yuasa and Peter Humphrey are looking to bring some tasty morsels to the East Village. Yuasa, who is a partner in the recently opened Caffe Vita “outpost” on Ludlow Street, has now teamed up with Humphrey to open a doughnut shop that sells fresh roasted coffee and mini-donuts.
They’ve put together a kickstarter video (see above) to raise money to buy a ‘Donut Robot,’ that will fry and dispenses the mini-donuts automatically. Warning: the video will make you smile and most likely instill donut cravings.
