Camp Henry Open Houses Coming Up

Another spring-like day in New York might have you thinking about your family’s summer plans. It just so happens Henry Street Settlement is holding a couple of open houses for “Camp Henry.”  They will be on March 28 and April 4, from 6 to 7 p.m. at the camp headquarters, 301 Henry Street.  You’ll be able to meet the staff, tour the facilities and ask questions.

If you register you’re child at the open house and put down a $100 deposit,  tou’ll be automatically entered in a raffle to win a full camp scholarship.  For those who do not win the raffle, the deposit will be applied to camp tuition.

Camp Henry Day Camp offers a wide range of educational and recreational enrichment activities for children ages four-and-a-half to 13. Campers enjoy daily activities such as arts and crafts, music, drama, sports and swimming. The campers have trips around New York City and the tri-state area, including visits to museums and amusement parks, bowling alleys and other interactive sites.

Camp Henry runs for seven weeks from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Early drop-off and late pick-up are available for a flat rate of $150 for the summer. More info on Henry Street’s web site.
