I agree! Just trying to get my mind around it. Imagine 130 firefighters involved and hundreds of students at nearby NEST school with canceled after school programs. This means that many parents had to leave work early to take their kids home and/or make other arrangements.  All told, the economic impact of this fire, not to mention of course the damage to the building and unfortunate Masaryk tenants who are left homeless and lost their posessions, is enormous. At least no one was killed. And to think, all this because of a space heater and severe stupidity!
I live here at Masaryk Towers, and yes it’s true the heat has been on for some time now and is enough to keep the apartment nice and warm. I open the windows to let some fresh cold air in all the time. Sorry for the two boxer dogs, but at least no human life was lost… Â Oh there was no need to affect the NEST school, YUPPIES………..
