The Nature Conservancy in New York presents a birding lesson for kids at Openhouse Gallery’s pop-up park (Park Here) on Mulberry Street this Saturday. From 10:30 to 11:30 a.m., kids will hear a story, “Feathers for Lunch,” have a discussion about local birds, and then make their own “binoculars” using recycled materials. The event is part of Mommy Mornings at the park, which takes place every day through Feb. 15 from 9 a.m. until noon.
Free. For kids aged 18 months and up. Park Here, 201 Mulberry St. (between Kenmare and Spring).
