Weekend Kids’ Pick

Must Read

Book reading and craft project at McNally Jackson on Saturday.

The folks at McNally Jackson Books are recycling wood from recent storms to build holiday tabletop trees. On Saturday, kids can trim trees with photos, birds, leaves, bugs, buttons and beads. Kids can tailor their trees to suit the season: stars, dreidels, bells, candy canes.  The featured book reading for the day is Stuck by Oliver Jeffers. The event is free and hosted by Yvonne Brooks. It begins at 11:30 a.m. and children ages 3 to 8 are welcome.
