- Eater reveals that award winning Portland, Oregon chef Andy Ricker is opening his first New York City “Pok Pok” restaurant on the Lower East Side. The Southeast Asian specialist will be taking over the tiny spot once occupied by Baohaus on Rivington Street.
- Blue Ribbon continues its conquest of Manhattan. There are plans to move into the Thompson LES Hotel, in the former Shang space.
