In conjunction with Domestic Violence Awareness Month, Beth Israel is sponsoring the following event today:
Beth Israel Medical Center’s Domestic Violence Intervention Program presents the “Clothesline Project” and information table today from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., in the Linsky lobby, 1st Avenue and 16th Street. The Clothesline Project provides community members with a way to express their feelings about domestic violence by decorating shirts. At the free event community members are invited to decorate a paper shirt. Art supplies will be available. Information also will be available on the Domestic Violence Intervention Program’s services.
