A new film by writer and director Leslye Headland starring Spider-Man leading lady Kirsten Dunst is scheduled to shoot at 102 Norfolk St. on Monday, according to notices posted along the block between Delancey and Rivington this morning.
The film is listed as “untitled” in the parking warnings, but IMDb.com calls it Bachelorette, and lists additional cast members that include James Marsden (Straw Dogs, X-Men) and Isla Fisher (Confessions of a Shopaholic).
Headland’s play of the same name had a sucessful off-Broadway run at the McGinn/Cazale Theater last summer.
The film, which tells the story of young post-college women preparing for the wedding of a friend, is set for release next year. Next week, crews will be working predominantly inside 102 Norfolk from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., according to the notices, which ask drivers to move their cars from surrounding blocks by 6 p.m. Sunday. The apartment building at 102 Norfolk houses Saro Bistro, a small restaurant, on its ground floor, as well as The Back Room, a subterranean lounge.
