Hard as it might be to believe, the fall season has arrived in New York City. Today it will feel a lot like fall, too. Rainy with a high of 67. It’s looking like the wet, cool weather will stick around most of the week.
We’ve updated our September Calendar with al kinds of events. Tomorrow, there’s another City Council hearing on the controversial proposal to establish a Business Improvement District in Chinatown. Also tomorrow, Lower East Side galleries kick off the season with a grand opening night. Thursday, of course, public school students return to classes. And there are lots of LES-centric events commemorating Sunday’s 10th Anniversary of 9/11. As always, you’re welcome to add your own events to our Calendar.
