Lots of Lower East Side residents will be keeping an eye on Albany this week; the state’s laws protecting rent regulated apartments expire on Wednesday. There are high hopes a deal to extend and expand the laws will be reached in the next 72 hours. Coming up today, continuing our Third Thursdays art gallery profiles, we’ll take a look at the Woodward Gallery on Eldridge Street. Also we’ll have some highlights from this past weekend’s Egg Rolls & Egg Creams Festival. It’s another busy week on the Lower East Side.
