If you are thinking it’s a good time to find a new best friend, check out The Mayor’s Alliance for NYC’s Animals’ gigantic adoptathon on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Washington Square Park, where animals from many downtown shelters and rescues, including Animal Haven on Centre Street, will be looking for new families. You can also bring your own furry friends for agility courses and other canine fun.
