Lucid NYC has another intriguing lineup planned for tomorrow night. Channeling, um, Mel Gibson, the cutting edge event series goes all Apocalypto!
Among the speakers: Miriam Simun, the artist behind Breast Milk Cheese, talking about the most hyper-local of cuisines; urban caveman John Durant riffing on the many innovations in primitivism; and Priceline.com founder Jeff Hoffman on launching any venture, even breast milk or multi-unit urban cave dwellings. There will be food, drinks and music before the presentations. The event will be held at Drom, 85 Avenue A. There’s a full dinner menu and a happy hour from 7-8. Live jazz by The Hot Sardines, courtesy of Music for Tomorrow, will provide the soundtrack for the evening. $15 advance, $20 door. More info here.
