Cocktails for a Cause at Foley and Corinna Tuesday

Must Read

LES boutique Foley & Corinna is inviting neighbors to drop in for a drink on Tuesday night, and bring new or gently used women’s clothing to donate. The store, at 114 Stanton St., is hosting a collections drive for the 1-year-old Brooklyn Sex Trafficking Unit of the King’s County District Attorney’s office, which investigates domestic cases of girls and women being forced into prostitution. The free event runs from 7 to 9 p.m. and benefits the Girls’ Initiative for Victim Empowerment (GIVE), which helps survivors. If you can’t make the party, the store will accept donations during regular business hours. Read more about the Brooklyn anti-trafficking effort in DA Charles Hynes’ recent letter to The New York Times.
