From our friends at the LES BID: An organization called Truth Dare Change will be holding a Book Drive for Children and Adults will be held at the Hester Street Fair this Saturday. They are trying to improve the ratio of age-appropriate books available in low-income neighborhoods. The group will collect books at the fair and distribute them to various LES and Brooklyn neighborhood organizations like Groundwork, The Joy Center and Henry Street Settlement.
