On Friday, Manhattan Borough President Scott Stringer, Assembly Speaker Sheldon Silver, Senator Daniel Squadron and City Councilwoman Margaret Chin got a little lesson on charging up an electric car. The tutorial was part of a news conference held by the Seward Park Cooperative to celebrate the installation of four new charging stations and the arrival of a Nissan Leaf electric car. The automobile is part of the co-op’s “Connect-by-Hertz” car sharing fleet.
