- Goodfella’s Brick Oven Pizza opened yesterday at 144 Orchard Street. The chain that started in Staten Island is located just a block away from Lower East Side legend Rosario’s. We stopped by for a quick slice last night (no judgments just yet). In addition to pizza, there are pasta dishes and other entrees, such as a brick oven ribeye ($28). No liquor license yet; open from 11:30am; delivery available.
- The Voice has a look at the New Amsterdam Market’s summer preview event coming up Sunday.
- Saturday 6pm/Channel 13: Neil Kleinberg of Clinton Street Baking Company demonstrates how to make his world famous pancakes — on the premiere of the new cooking show, “Real Food.”
