Every Saturday at 11:30, McNally Jackson bookstore (152 Prince St.) hosts a free kid’s story time. This Saturday, March 5, the theme is all things down under. During this “Welcome to Oz” story time, kids will discover the amazing animals of Oz, learn Aussie slang, and create their own spiny echidnas. The featured book will be Diary of a Baby Wombat by Jackie French. Recommended for kiddies ages 3 to 8 years.
