We wanted to take a moment to congratulate EV Grieve for winning “best neighborhood blog” in the Village Voice Web Awards last night. Our prolific neighbor to the north has built an amazing community around a blog that’s timely, insightful, creative and (frequently) very funny. Grieve was a trailblazer in “hyperlocal” news long before it was fashionable. He’s an inspiration to us here at The lo-Down.
