Today is, of course, all about the fallout from Election 2010. On the Lower East Side, there was no suspense whatsoever, as Sheldon Silver, Daniel Squadron and Brian Kavanagh were sent back to Albany. Carolyn Maloney and Nydia Velazquez, are headed back to Washington — but as part of the Minority in the House.
Today, we’ll update the progress of the Chinatown Working Group, and we’ll look ahead to the happenings at the Essex Street Market, which will be open Sundays starting this weekend.
